As the survivor or beneficiary of a btiÌåÓý member, you are part of the btiÌåÓý family. If your member spouse/partner is retired or has enough service credit to retire but is still working, you should discuss filing a btiÌåÓý Special Durable Power of Attorney with us. The btiÌåÓý Special Durable Power of Attorney designates an individual to conduct important btiÌåÓý business on the member’s behalf in the event they become ill, incapacitated, or unable to handle their own affairs.
